The Great Divorce

ABOUT THE SHOW

An adaptation from the novel by C.S. Lewis, the story follows the journey of a soul from a desolate, dark, and ever expanding metropolis, to a magical bus ride then on to a country of transcendent appeal, terrifying spirits radiating with light, and harsh magnificent terrain. The assorted characters (fellow bus passengers along the journey) have difficulty adjusting to their surroundings and coming to terms with their condition, all with diverse experiences and perspectives shaping their varied reactions to such a mysterious place.

Godspell – Auditions

Godspell will be directed and presented very much in a style of ensemble theatre, meaning that the entire cast of 10-15 performers will be intricately and more or less equally involved in telling the story, moving and singing often together, and on stage for most of the show. Each member of the ensemble will have the opportunity to be featured dramatically, through choreography, and / or with a vocal solo at some point in the story, whether a full or partial song. Performing artists of any age, background, or identity are encouraged to apply for an audition.
