“WHEN BELIEFS COLLIDE”
(A pair of staged readings about the clash of beliefs within a faith culture)
A relaxed evening at interesting venues with some food and drink, and a one time only presentation of a script never before produced in Ottawa, performed by actors, and followed by a discussion about the play’s content.
Two elderly sisters forget all about southern charm when a young door-to-door evangelist comes knocking. This theological comedy blends sharpness of wit and depth of character, while telling a story in which a crisis of faith arises when seemingly similar beliefs are discovered to be worlds apart. The play premiered in New York City in 2009.
