The Story

Frankenstein A.I. is a brand new original theatrical work currently in development by 9th Hour Theatre Company. The play explores what it means to be human and the value of the human experience, the relationship and tensions that arise between the created and the creator, and the ethics of developing artificial general intelligence. The play is a contemporary retelling of Mary Shelley's novel originally published in 1818 in which Doctor Frankenstein's "creature" is instead an Artificial General Intelligence humanoid. World views clash and danger ensues in this fresh take on a celebrated classic.
You only have value as long as you are valuable to it.
